Recipe of the Month

Spooky Cookies 

READY IN: 30 mins                      

INGREDIENTS

  • Any homemade cookie recipe will do.  If you are in a hurry, pick up some pre-made cookie dough.
  • Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
  • black decorating icing 
  • candy eyes 

DIRECTIONS

Bake Cookies as directed.  When you pull them out of the oven  make divots in the middle of the cookie with a small measuring spoon.  Allow the cookies to cool completely,  
Place a cup of chocolate chips in a bowl and microwave them in short intervals of 1o seconds and stir until they are completely melted.  
Place Your Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups in the middle of the cookie where your made a divot.  Put a dap of melted chocolate on the back of the candy eyes and stick them into place on the peanut butter cups.  Lastly, add a vocabulary word and ooze the melted chocolate slowly on top of the cookies to make the spiders legs.  Let the melted chocolate dry.
